Dr. Loutfi earned his medical degree from the University of Damascus, in Syria, in 2000 and continued his studies with an internship in internal medicine from the University of South Alabama, a residency in neurology at the University of South Alabama Medical Center, and a fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology, with Vanderbilt University. Dr. Loutfi specializes in the understanding and treatment of epilepsy, a speciality he studied extensively at Vanderbilt University.
